CLP Structures are Structural Engineering Consultants specialising in all types of construction. We are based in Bristol and cover all of Southern England, and have over 25 years of experience working on all types of construction projects.
CLP Structures Ltd is run by Chris Lyons AMIStructE. BTech. IEng. a fully qualified Structural Engineer with over 25 years experience in all types of construction. He has worked on a wide variety of large and small projects across many sectors including, domestic, education, housing, industrial, refurbishment and retail.
We have extensive experience carrying out structural surveys, reports and subsidence investigations, along with designs for loft conversions, extensions, new builds and much more.
All our work is fully covered by our £2million Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Chris graduated from Portsmouth University in 1996 with a degree in Civil Engineering.
After gaining valuable post graduation experience he went on to become a fully qualified member of The Institute of Structural Engineers in 2003.
Before starting CLP Structures Chris gained considerable construction experience working as a Senior Engineer and then Director with The Hambleton Partnership Ltd. At The Hambleton Partnership Chris was responsible for the design of a variety of projects ranging from large multi million pound college campus redevelopments to small domestic house extensions.
Before joining the Hambleton Partnership he was Principal Engineer at Milbury Systems, where he oversaw the design and detailing of pre-stressed concrete structures. Having specialised in precast and prestressed concrete construction techniques Chris now provides consultancy advice to numerous concrete construction companies across the country.
